Butterfly valves for transformers DIN 42560 Form B & B OR
Our type B and B OR transformers are designed as intermediate flange and mounted between two corresponding mating flanges. The flange is made of forged steel S355J2G3 and has a flange thickness of h = 40 mm with remote housing.

Our type B and B OR NW 80 transformers meet the sealing and operating conditions to DIN 42560 and EN 50216-8. A small leakage is possible with metal sealing butterfly valves for transformers, whereas soft seal butterfly valves are completely locked against vacuum. In both versions the operation of the transformer is absolutely locked outwards.

Butterfly valves for OFFSHORE applications
The intermediate flanged butterfly valves of our transformers can be equipped as follows:

Solid SOLID coating up to -C5-M (ISO 12944); consists of a KTL primer, an Akzo Nobel powder intermediate coating and a top coating
-Material housing can be made of stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) on request
-Lockable cover GFK (glass fiber reinforced plastic)
Adjusting device standard made of seawater-resistant aluminum (EN AW 6082)
-Bolts with wreaths are stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) or duplex steel (1.4462)
