Oil Level Indicators 42569

Oil level indicator magnetic DIN 42569

According to DIN 42569, the magnetic oil level indicator is used in oil-cooled power or distribution transformers or expansion tanks with regulators. There is a magnetic Decoupling between the float and the screen part, not a mechanical connection. By using the magnetic connection, a clamping force of up to 10 bar is provided. If the indicator part is damaged, it cannot expel oil or enter the ambient air.

According to DIN 42569, there are two types of magnetic level indicator available:
Form A (without switch contacts) and Form B (with one or two NO or NC ignition switches).

Magnetic level indicator 42569 Form A

– Radial float movement
– Magnetic coupling for transferring float motion
– The operating temperature is between -25°C and +110°C.Dec.
– UV resistant control glass (Makrolon)

Magnetic level indicator 42569 Form B (MOLC)

– Optional radial (MOLCA) or axial (MOLCB) float movement
– Magnetic coupling for transferring float motion
– UV resistant control glass (Makrolon)
-Resetable trailing pointer
– Optional limit switches
– The operating temperature is between -25°C and +110°C.Dec.

Floater

PMI (Rohacell) is used as float material. This foam is resistant to mineral oil and other known transformer insulators. Since the foam is closed porous, the function is also ensured when the float is damaged.

House

The housing is made of a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy and coated with PU powder (RAL 7033 on request). Magnetic oil level indicators meet the requirements of DIN 42569 and EN 50216-5.
