Vertical air dryers are used in oil cooled transformers and regulated expansion tanks. They help to protect the cooling and insulating liquid and prevent harmful moisture absorption in the ambient air caused by the changing load of the transformer. This prevents a drastic reduction in the electrical tear strength of the expansion tank and the formation of condensation. The air dryer increases the operational safety of the transformer.

The connection end of the vertical air dryers is available in G 1 ¼ or M 40 x 1.5.
The integrated oil reservoir prevents continuous contact of the drying medium with the outside air.
