Type C2 oil drain valves are welded to the transformer vessel and are used for oil sampling or draining from the vessel. The connection part F DIN 42551 oil cleaning system can be connected.
Type C2 oil drain valve conforms to EN 50216-4: 2015 Type C2 (former DIN 42551 A) and is available in 3 different sizes:
NW 22 (DIN 42551 A22)
NW 31 (DIN 42551 A31)
NW 40 (DIN 42551 A40)
The socket is produced by deep drawing and guarantees absolute impermeability. The closure cover is made of gray cast iron EN-GJL-200 (optionally A4 stainless steel), while the locking screw is made of brass (optionally A4 stainless steel). We offer the oil drain valve as metal sealing (42551 A) or soft sealing (42551 A OR). An O-ring is also connected to the soft sealing design.
Oil drain valve type C2 A OR
The oil drain valve type C2 A OR is a development of the tested DIN 42551. The internal O-ring ensures that no oil accumulates in the cover. F The function of the DIN 42551 connector/connector continues without any problems. The C2 type A OR oil drain valve is available in sizes A22 OR / A31 OR / A40 OR. Its advantage is safety against leakage, thus preventing possible contamination when you remove the cover.
