The thermometer pocket T is welded to the boiler with oil-cooled transformers and can be screwed onto the type A1 thermometer with 1” inch outer gasket. The thermometer pocket corresponds to EN 50216-4:2002 Type A1 (DIN 42554 T).
Type A1 pockets are manufactured in one piece by deep drawing process and therefore offer absolute oil tightness compared to welded versions. The bimetal thermometer MBT with G 1” can be screwed into the thermometer pocket type A1. The thermometer pocket complies with EN 50216-4:2002 type A1 (DIN 42554 T).
