Transformer Insulators
Transformer bushing insulators are classified as hollow insulators and are a type of bushing used to separate two different media.
Bushing insulators are insulators used at the entrance of a conductor into the transformer tank and isolate the conductor against the tank.
Energy is transported by a set of conductive rods passing through the insulator. It is generally used in transformers and can also be used to isolate current-carrying conductors passing through walls and building or structure claddings. Nomenclature;
