Butterfly Valve Welding Spout Flange
DIN 42560 Form A and A OR butterfly valves for transformers are designed as flanges with welded flanges and are welded directly to the transformer vessel wall. The radiator is flanged in four holes (M16; circle with Ø160 mm bore). The flange is made of forged steel (S355J2G3).
A small leakage is possible with metal sealing butterfly valves for transformers, whereas soft seal butterfly valves are completely locked against vacuum.
Our transformer butterfly valves DIN 42560 A NW 80 meet the sealing and operating conditions according to DIN 42560 and EN 50216-8. Both versions are locked strictly outwards in the operation of the transformer.
